At Moo Moo, we have a deep reverence for BBQ, and our pit masters approach it with utmost seriousness. However, we believe in keeping it simple to truly unlock the flavors. We carefully blend a selection of woods to create the perfect smoke profile, while hand-mixing spices and herbs sourced from around the world. Our aim is to present our own unique style of Texas Barbecue.

To achieve this, we start with the finest oak, Pohutukawa, manuka, and kanuka woods, ensuring optimal flavour infusion. We spare no expense in acquiring the best seasonings available, and we only work with quality meats that offer an unparalleled taste. Freshly baked buns from a local bakery complete our offerings, while all the barbecue magic takes place on-site in our offset smoker, ensuring the freshest product possible.

Our specialty lies in expertly prepared brisket, short ribs, pulled pork, lamb, handmade jalapeño cheddar pork sausages, and specialized steaks. It is our dream to serve you mouthwatering meat, and our ultimate satisfaction stems from your approval. NZ WAGYU BRISKET

When it comes to BBQ, our Brisket reigns as the undisputed king.

These magnificent beasts undergo a meticulous grain finishing process for a remarkable 100 days, resulting in a perfectly marbled product that is both juicy and tender, while bursting with flavour. Slowly smoked for a duration of 12 hours, each brisket is then expertly rested to achieve optimal perfection before serving.

Our House Smoked Salmon undergoes a delightful citrus curing process before being meticulously smoked using a carefully curated blend of native timbers. The slow smoking technique imparts an unique and exquisite flavour profile to the Salmon, resulting in a truly exceptional culinary experience.

PORK RIBS

We take pride in our juicy pork ribs, which are given the special treatment of slow smoking in the pit.

Once perfectly cooked, these ribs are generously coated in a delightful sweet and fruity BBQ sauce, adding a burst of flavour that enhances their already mouth-watering appeal.

NZ LAMB SHANK

The NZ lamb shank embodies the essence of Kiwi culture, much like a leisurely Sunday nap.

We take pride in using grass-fed lamb, which is carefully aged and then slow-smoked for a remarkable 6 hours, utilizing native woods to enhance its flavours.

CAROLINA PULLED PORK

Our Pulled Pork starts with a beautiful shoulder cut, which we infuse with a harmonious blend of Spanish and native American herbs and spices.

To further enhance its flavours, we smoke the pork using carefully selected native woods, resulting in a truly remarkable and aromatic dish.

NZ WAGYU BEEF SHORT RIBS

Our carefully crafted blend of secret spices is generously applied to the meat, which is then expertly smoked for a period of 12 to 14 hours using native woods.

At Moo Moo Smokehouse & Grill, we are committed to selecting only the finest beef from top sources such as New Zealand, Japan, and Australia.
